Espresso course ☞ Brew course
This two part course is aimed at the amateur home barista or avid coffee beverage consumer who wishes to learn more about the intricacies of making espresso. You will be taught essential knowledge key to brewing espresso and will be given the opportunity to go behind the espresso bar at Kaffeine to gain and practise the practical skills involved in making coffee.
The first session will cover the topic of coffee as an agricultural product, it will address the question of “what is espresso?” and will cover tamping techniques.
The second session will focus on milk chemistry, latte art and will culminate on making your own beverages from start to end. The course is split into two 1.5 hr sessions and is designed for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 people to ensure adequate participation of practical elements.
The sessions will run on 2 consecutive weeknights from 7:15pm to 8:45pm. Please check the ☞ available dates and email to express your interest.
£60 per person for the 2 sessions. Please note that payment must be received in advance of the class or your place will not be reserved. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or bank transfer.
